How did Rome begin?

The first king romulus lived in the regal era which is from 753 b.c to 510 b.c. This era was monarchical and was ruled by seven kings. Romulus was known to be cared for by a she-wolf.  During the republic era, the Roman Republic was founded in 509 B.C.E. after the last Etruscan king that ruled Rome was overthrown, and in the imperial era rome ruled land from the western to the middle east.
