Living World
This week team Tui have been learning about the living world.
Pollination
What is pollination?
Pollination is the transfer of pollen from an anther of a plant to the stigma of a plant, later enabling fertilisation and the production of seeds, most often by an animal or by wind.
Why do we need pollinators?
You need pollinators. Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce.
What we did this week
This week we did work of ancient Rome and we did a science experiment. I learn who Julius Caesar is. Julius Caesar is a guy who changed Rome for the good.
